Dear Author,

Thank you so much for taking the time to write something for me!

Below are some general likes and a few optional prompts for the fandoms I selected. I am content with things from either list so feel free to write whatever appeals to you most!

General likes
  • Hijinks & shenanigans
  • Fluff & humor
  • 5+1s and similar formats
  • Timeloops
  • Banter
  • Friend groups hanging out and having fun. Bonus for found family
  • Party games (like spin the bottle, truth or dare, king cup, etc.)
  • Characters getting high or drunk together (not in an overly unsafe way though)
  • Multimedia fic, as in fic that incorporates alternative kinds of content such as tweets, emails, text messages, art pieces, or any other kinds of interesting formats.
  • "Unsexy" sex, sex-as-comedy, or sex as a vehicle for demonstrating relationship dynamics, relationship growth, etc,
  • ... but also PWP, if you feel so inclined
General dislikes
  • Breakups
  • Unhappy/Hopeless endings (P.S. I Hate You is the exception)
  • Non-canon infidelity (I tend to prefer ethical non-manogamy where applicable)
  • Non-canon major character death
  • Extensive depictions of queerphobia (transphobia, acephobia, biphobia, homophobia, etc)

P.S. I Hate You

I have SO many thoughts about this show, and I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I don't normally go for tragedies but this one kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I was rooting for everyone even though narratively speaking they couldn't have had happy endings.

Prompt 1: Prae is a ghost. She comes back to warn Meen about Pitch and/or get her revenge.

P.S. I Hate You is already a bit of a ghost story — both Pan and Prae haunt the narrative from episode 1 onwards, and the echos of who they were and what they did continue to have a real tangible effect on every single character. I think it would be really cool to make this theme literal — possibly with an added ghostly romance angle?

There are a lot of ways this could go, so feel free to run with it any way you'd like. I think either character's POV could both be interesting. My initial thought was that this would be post-canon, but canon-divergent or an AU could also work. Maybe Prae is the one who helps Meen discover Pitch's flashdrive? Or maybe Prae has been watching this whole time? For a bit of a romance angle, I would be interested in either something darker and morally gray (since this is a ghost story after all, and the series lends itself well to a love-as-corruption angle) or a "fix it" style happily ever after revenge fantasy — whichever you prefer. I would be okay with a tragic ending for this fandom, but I do have a slight preference for Pitch not getting a happy ending, lol.

Prompt 2: Past Pal/Prae relationship (potentially in a messy, fucked up kind of way)

Prae is in love with Meen, but Meen doesn't know and doesn't return her feelings. Pal is desperate for friendship and connection, but doesn't know how to build it in a healthy way. They relate to each other more than I think either of them would like to admit. It would be really interesting if something had happened between the two of them — kind of an enemies-and-lovers situation? They don't really like each other even as friends, but there's something about their similarities that draws them together.

I'd honestly take any iteration of this idea that catches your eye, but if you'd like some specific ideas, I think it would be interesting to see the immediate aftermath of the pool party threesome / sextape scene. Pal knows that Prae likes women. Pal also stayed to film the whole thing. I don't really think that the only reason she stayed was to collect blackmail material. I think it would be interesting to see them have a confrontation about that and then see how things go from there.

Prompt 3: Pal POV / Character study

Pal is such an interesting character to me! She is long dead at the start of the series but continues to have a huge impact throughout the whole show, and her story is told out of order in fragmented pieces as the story unfolds in the current timeline. The very last scene of the entire show is actually the first scene of her story, and it adds so much context to her desperate need for the Blossom Squad's friendship. Plus I saw someone in a YouTube comment mention a theory that the narrator is Pal, which I also thought was cool.

I would love to see a scene or two from Pal's perspective, or maybe a missing scene. What other kinds of things did Pal do to try to make the Blossom Squad like her? When did those behaviors start becoming manipulative? What did was it like for her to be craving their affection but always treated like an outsider?

Prompt 4: Prae/Meen missing scenes

I would adore any scene you'd like to write between Meen and Prae, especially if it's from Prae's POV. We did get to see some of her unrequited (?) feelings but I would really, really love to see more. You're welcome to write Meen's POV instead though if that speaks to you more! It could be neat to explore Meen having feelings for Prae as well that she hasn't fully recognized.

Prompt 5: Fix it fic - May survives... somehow

I had a harebrained theory that somehow May didn't die, and she was going to come back at the very end to kill Pitch or something. Wouldn't that have been cool? Feel free to write whatever speaks to you most but I for one would love to see that woman kick some ass and take some names. She deserved better.

Semantic Error

This show gave me serious brain worms. I used to be massively into NurseyDex back in my Check Please days, and Semantic Error ticks all the same boxes. Their chemistry and their "mutual annoyances to lovers" relationship is just *chef's kiss* so honestly anything showing their relationship dynamic and banter would be excellent. That said - the prompts.

Prompt 1: Post-canon future fic - the office romance where their coworkers wildly misinterpret everything.
Jaeyoung an Sangwoo aren't particularly vocal about their relationship in the workplace — maybe it's professionalism, maybe workplace relationships are discouraged, or maybe they just wants some privacy. Either way, their coworkers don't know they're dating. They interpret the duo's argumentative work style as genuine dislike and try to do what they can to help them bridge their differences — or maybe they try to keep them separated? Whatever is most entertaining for you, dear author. It could also be funny if their coworkers think they're crushing on each other or something, but don't realize they've been dating for like a year. Up to you!

Prompt 2: Mixed media (ish) game design romance
I think it would be fun to see a bit of Jaeyoung and Sangwoo's relationship through little artifacts of the game production process. Emails, slack messages, design critiques, patch notes, code reviews, commit messages, comments on roadmap plans, calendar invites, whatever you like! Does Jaeyoung try to flirt while at work? Do they banter back and forth through google docs comments? Many possibilities...

Prompt 3: Mutually assured horny destruction
I love the competitive streak these two have, and I would be thrilled to see that translated into seduction techniques. Maybe Jaeyoung intentionally gets a little bit touchy while they're out with friends, just because he knows that Sangwoo will react. Maybe Sangwoo retaliates with pulling out the "hyung" card. Up to you how far things devolve from there.

Baker Boys

Okay I know this is not meant to be a romance show. I knew from the very beginning that Punn and Weir weren't going to get together. And yet.... Here I am, requesting Punn/Weir content, while there are plenty of actual BL shows I could be requesting instead. Lee and Singto just have really good chemistry! Sue me! Anyway — here are some prompts.

Prompt 1: Post-canon get together
Living with Weir full time makes Punn realize some things. Maybe he realizes that there really isn't that much difference between living with Weir like this and actually dating him. Maybe seeing Weir walking around the house shirtless one too many times makes him question a few things about himself. Whatever it is, I'd love to burden that guy with some inconvenient feelings. It could also be cool to look at this from Weir's perspective. Here's this man he kind of likes (or at least used to) and sure he's hot, but he doesn't go for straight guys — not seriously, anyway. Except Punn has been acting a little strange lately, and it's giving Weir mixed feelings. I don't know — I would honestly take any type of post-canon get together you want to give me, dear author.

Prompt 2: "If I sleep with you... will you stay?" except he actually does.
This line made me go absolutely insane when that episode aired. Like!!!! What a totally heterosexual thing to offer. What a fucking move. "I care about this guy so much and I can't continue my business without him at my side and I want him to stay in my life so even though I am a Straight Man I am going to offer to sleep with him, to convince him to stay." Like. My guy. What the fuck. Anyway.

I'd love to see how this scene could have played out differently — either from a PWP perspective or something else. Obviously there's some iffiness if Punn has some misgivings, and you could play into that to have a messier, more complicated dynamic — potentially even exploring the aftermath and mixed feelings. Another way to do it would be to have Weir turn it into something a bit more competitive, like "If you're going to get me to sleep wit hyou, you're going to have to try harder than that." Cue Punn doing what any allegedly heterosexual man would do and trying his very hardest to seduce Punn.

3 Will Be Free
I'm up for any interpretation you prefer for Shin's sexuality and his relationship with Mew. I do have a special fondness for Shin being gay and their relationship being queerplatonic, but it's more than okay if you'd prefer to write him as bi and in a romantic relationship with Mew. Sexuality is complicated and fluid, and I consider all interpretations are valid.

Prompt 1: Shin and Mew hang out solo
What kinds of things do these two get up to together when Neo is out on a grocery run, or at the gym or something? Do they gossip about Neo? Do they run off on an impromptu day trip? Do they secretly take care of the shadier parts of the business that Neo doesn't need to know about? I really love their dynamic and I would love to see any scene you'd like to write. Bonus for relationship negotiations or conversations about sexuality and/or queerplatonic relationships.

Prompt 2: Neo, Shin, and Mew have a lazy morning.
Could include sex, but doesn't have to. I'm especially interested in seeing their domestic life and routines when Shin is able to stay over for visits. Lots of playful teasing, physical closeness, or just everyday household activities would be lovely!
