Dear Creator,

Thanks for creating a gift for me! Here's a list of some ideas. Feel free to run with any of these ideas. I don't mind if you want to just use them for inspiration, don't worry about following any prompt too closely if you don't want to!

General Likes

• Multimedia fic, as in fic that incorporates alternative kinds of content such as tweets, emails, text messages, art pieces, or any other kinds of interesting formats.
• Pining, just generally. Especially mutual pining
• Comedy, banter, shenanigans, and dumb boys being dumb
• Friends to lovers (or rivals to friends to lovers)
• Fake dating
• Hidden relationship/relationship reveal shenanigans
• "Canadian shack" (AKA getting stuck together in a specific place, bonus for “oh no there's only one bed whatever shall we do”)
• Party games (like spin the bottle, truth or dare, 7 minutes in heaven, etc.)
• Any "oh no they're hot" moment
• Bros in love
• Blushing
• Getting high together
• ADHD/autistic character headcanons

General Dislike

Here are a few things I tend to avoid for exchanges.

• Character death
• Rape/Non-con
• Breakup fic (past breakups are fine)
• Graphic descriptions of extreme violence, gore, or torture

Nurseydex

I'll probably like any Nurseydex stuff you make so go wild. These prompts are just for inspiration!

• Roommate shenanigans! Mutual pining while living in shared spaces is my jam.
• Buzzfeed Unsolved AU
• Dumb competitions where the winner gets smooches
• Laser tag
• Dex and Nursey are a couple on house hunters with wildly different opinions on what they want. ("No Nursey, listen, we can't afford a jacuzzi—" "Well SOMEONE wouldn't let us get a bedroom for our pet snake, so")
• Musician!Dex writes a song using lyrics based off of Poet!Nursey's poetry. The song becomes super popular and uh... now what?
• Nursey and Dex are rival professional conmen/thieves who are being forced to work together on a job

Ransom/Tater

This is my favorite rarepair in Check Please! If only there was more fic about them… (Anything is good, but here are some possible prompts for inspiration!

• Soulmate AU
• Coffee Shop AU
• Hockey player/PR or marketing person meet-cute
• Living in the same apartment building AU (or future fic?)
• Tater thinks Ransom is really hot and has a thing for Ransom's instagram
• Shenanigans where Ransom thinks that Tater has a thing for Holster because he keeps asking to hang out with "Adam"... but in fact..... Tater has a crush on Ransom, and just keeps messing up his name
• Tater finds Ransom's collection of Alexei Mashkov posters
• Tater accidentally oversees some of Ransom and Jack's text conversation, and finds out that Ransom is crushing on him. What will he do to show Ransom that the feelings are reciprocated? Shenanigans ensue.
  • Or, alternatively, Tater oversees some of Jack's texts with Ransom and wildly misinterprets them, and now more shenanigans ensue

Whiskey

I dunno why I love this boy so much, but I do. I'd love some Whiskey-centric fic! Here are some ideas:

• Maybe a character study, or something showing his growth through his freshman year?
• A missing scene, perhaps? There was a lot that we didn't get to see—important conversations between him and Bitty, context for his relationship with Tango… idk, go wild!
• On a lighter note, I really like Whiskey/Tango, so anything about that relationship is lovely! I also like Ford too, so feel free to include her however you like!
• Alternatively, I still really enjoy the “Whiskey fucks the LAX team” stuff, so any form of that is great haha
