Bad Buddy Exchange Letter

Dear author,

I apologize for not putting anything in the content of the request! Had a bit of a weird week. Below you can find some optional prompts. I am an easy recipient to please — there are a lot of things I like and very few things I dislike. Feel free to take whatever you like from below and run with it!.

General likes:

• Hijinks & shenanigans
• Fluff & humor
• 5+1s and similar formats
• Banter
• Friend groups hanging out and having fun. Bonus for found family
• Party games (like spin the bottle, truth or dare, king cup, etc.)
• Characters getting high or drunk together (not in an unsafe way though)
• Queer identity exploration (primarily interested in canon identities)
• Multimedia fic, as in fic that incorporates alternative kinds of content such as tweets, emails, text messages, art pieces, or any other kinds of interesting formats.
• "Unsexy" sex, sex-as-comedy, or sex as a vehicle for demonstrating relationship dynamics, relationship growth, etc,
• ... but also PWP, if you feel so inclined

General dislikes:

• Breakups
• Unhappy/Hopeless endings
• Non-canon infidelity (I tend to prefer ethical non-manogamy where applicable)
• Non-canon major character death
• Extensive depictions of queerphobia (transphobia, acephobia, biphobia, homophobia, etc)

Pat/Pran

•  Competitive flirting! I think this is one of my favorite things about their dynamic. Could be set during their "whoever falls in love first loses" phase, or anytime afterwards honestly. Bonus if they're trying to be subtle about it while around other people who "don't know" and they either miraculously succeed in not arousing suspicion or completely fail without realizing.
• A little scene or two from their secret relationship days. Hey Pat, I thought I saw that architecture guy wearing a shirt like that before. Is it a new trend? Oi, Pran, is that a hickey? You didn't tell us you were seeing anyone... What excuses do they come up with when they're almost caught? What shenanigans unfold?
• Pran being Really Attracted to his boyfriend. I feel like we get to see Pat loose his cool a lot around Pran, but the reverse doesn't happen nearly as often since Pran keeps his feelings a little bit closer to his chest. What does Pat do that makes all of Pran's mental functions come to a screeching halt? Or maybe he still manages to keep up appearances until they're alone...?
• Basically any PWP you want to write. Bonus for domesticness and/or banter during the act.

Korn & Pran

• I really want to see how these two became friends. What does Korn do to endear himself to his new friend-in-law? What do they eventually bond over? Rugby? Teasing Pat? So many possibilities.
• Maybe during their college days, Pran has a surprise he needs to plan for Pat — a birthday, an anniversary, valentine's day, whatever — and he needs Korn's help. Cue a little bit of teasing from Korn about how whipped these two are while Korn also does absolutely everything in his power to make sure it goes down perfectly.

Ink/Pa

• Ink in a suit. Pa in a suit. Either (or both) of them in suits while the other looks on like 😳 "Oh no, my girlfriend looks really good right now."
• How does Pa introduce Ink to her family? I would love to see how that plays out. Funny or genuine both work great for this prompt!
• Shenanigans on the road to intimacy. Maybe Pa wants to move their relationship to the next level but is too embarrassed to talk about it. Ink is worried about putting pressure on Pa but is also a lesbian mess, like "I am Thinking Thoughts about my girlfriend but I don't want to push her into something she's not ready for so I will instead sit here consumed by lust for the rest of the evening." Meanwhile Pa is wearing her cutest bra, letting her shirt fall off her shoulder, pulling out all the stops and getting more and more worried when girlfriend isn't responding to any her (probably awkward yet still effective) seduction techniques :(
• Any PWP you want to write.

Ink & Pat

• Pat and Ink are out somewhere doing sibling-in-law things and get mistaken for a couple. Instead of immediately correcting whoever it was, they're quick enough on their feet to play along and milk the opportunity for everything they can. Couples discounts? Staging an elaborate breakup fight for sympathy? Just straight up messing with people? When these two join forces anything could happen.
• Would love to see these two sit down for a coffee and chat about their love lives. Lots of teasing from both ends. I'd love to see them having a fun sibling-in-law relationship.

Pa & Pran

• We haven't gotten to see these two interact a ton, but I would love to see Pat and Pran fall into an easy sibling-in-law relationship. Both Pa and Pat are naturally disarming people, and Pran wouldn't be able to keep himself too closed off for long. How does Pa eventually get past his defenses? I think teasing Pat is a good bet, but the possibilities are endless.
• I firmly believe that Pa and Pran text each other a lot. Pat is firmly convinced that they're making fun of him, and that's true but only like, 25% of the time. The other 75% of the time is spent exchanging cat pictures or something. It's up to you, dear author.
